Toronto, Ontario -- Last week, more than 200 people turned out to celebrate the grand opening of Fix Auto Yorkdale in Toronto.
The event, helf Friday, ran from noon to 3 p.m., giving visitors time to tour the spotless new facility, view several restored luxury vehicles — including a Lamborghini — and enjoy ice cream served by a local food truck.
Located at 11 Gordon Mackay Rd in Toronto, the business is a stone's throw from Yorkdale Mall, the busiest shopping centre in Canada.
Since the mall’s opening in 1964, the Yorkdale area has grown into one of Toronto’s busiest retail and service corridors, attracting businesses that reflect the city’s steady growth and diverse economy.
Fix Auto Mississauga East owner Milo Chebly, who attended the grand opening, said the new location would provide major advantages to the facility's owners.
“I’m here to wish them good luck,” he said. “This is a spotless facility in a wonderful location that is easy to get to, so I’m not sure they’ll need it!”
