Mississauga, Ontario -- On Thursday, distributors in Canada’s automotive aftermarket sector came together at the Mississauga Hilton to participate in PBE Distributor’s 30th annual Spring Showcase trade show.
“We’re celebrating our 35th year of servicing the Canadian paint, body and equipment markets,” said Bruce Murray, business development manager for PBE.
During the event, leading manufacturers in the auto paint and collision repair sector informed several hundred guests about new products and services on offer, including cutting-edge refinish coatings, auto paints with eco-friendly packaging, and even a specialized fire extinguisher designed to put out electric vehicle battery fires.
According to Murray, the annual tradition has evolved significantly since its inception three decades ago.
“This is actually our 30th trade show. Our first was way back 30 years ago when we held a little barbecue in a London warehouse with a few distributors.”
