Toronto, Ontario — Stellantis has partnered with the Jeep brand and the Mopar Career Automotive Program to offer Indigenous students in Canada and the United States with scholarships towards becoming automotive service technicians.

Specifically, up to three students from Canada and the U.S. will receive scholarships worth up to US$20,000. In order to qualify, students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and must be qualifying Indigenous students with tribal membership.

The selected students will receive reimbursement for necessary tools and two years of tuition at a participating Mopar Career Automotive Program (CAP) college or trade school.

In response to the program opportunity, Canadian Auto Dealer (CAD) reported that Lottie Holland, Vice President of Diversity, Inclusion, Engagement and EEO compliance with the company commented that “engaging and supporting diverse talent in the pursuit of challenging and rewarding careers in the automotive industry is critical to our long-term strategy.”
