Fredericton, New Brunswick — June 1, 2017 — Fredericton is welcoming a new Fix Auto location to the community. Fix Auto Fredericton, owned and operated by Riverview Ford Lincoln, joined the network in 2015 with eventual plans for growth. Dealer Principal Nick McCarthy says he saw an opportunity in a new development earlier this year and seized it, building a new facility visible from busy Highway 2.
Fix Auto GM of Atlantic, Paul Randles, says, “They have relocated to accommodate substantial growth opportunities and improve processes and productivity that the new building will allow.” The shop is operated by Nick Perry and located at 156 Greenview Dr.
With Fix Auto since 2015, Perry has been in the collision repair industry for 21 years. He also has experience owning his own independent shop. Having a family of his own, Perry is excited about the potential of the new location, being closer to home and continuing to contribute to his local community.
The new Fredericton location is 16,000 sq. ft. with 17 employees. It features all new equipment including computerized measuring and welding systems. The shop held an open house concurrent with the recenting CCIF meeting, drawing attending delegates including insurers, suppliers, Fix Auto regional and head office representatives, fellow franchise strategic partners and repairers to view the new facility.
The facility, in association with the local Riverview Ford Lincoln dealership, is involved with several charity groups in the community. These groups include Habitat for Humanity, YMCA, SPCA, and Women in Transition House. The shop and dealership also hold fundraisers for local schools, giving over $100,000 back to the community last year. Fix Auto currently has 13 locations in the Atlantic region and expects to expand further this year.
