Toronto, Ontario — August 15, 2018 — Electronic Claims Services launched three new web apps in celebration of it’s 25th anniversary.
These three new tools are aimed to bring small to mid-sized auto insurers the digital convenience customers and shops have come to expect from service-oriented businesses.
The three new tools for auto insurers are photo claims, video verify and a locator tool.
The photo claims are an easy to follow tool that doesn’t require a download and allows policyholders to upload photos of their vehicle damage for review directly from their mobile devices.
The video verify is a great tool for insurance claim representatives that can’t physically make it to the shop to see the damages. This app allows live streaming that you can save and record. This tool is also good for communicating with shops through audio in chat all at once.
The locator tool uses Google Maps geolocation services to help insurer’s find approved repair shops that guide customers to the nearest in-network repair options. These kinds of services don’t require the customer service calls and gives the policyholder fast, online service.
