Toronto, Ontario — If you have a dream of seeing your R-M-painted vehicle in a calendar, listen up: BASF is now accepting submissions for next year’s R-M calendar.
The calendar will be distributed to shops across the United States and Canada.
BASF’s tips for taking and submitting photos are:
- Make sure you have good lighting that is not too dark
- Use a great background
- High-resolution camera
- Each photo size should measure a minimum of 3900 x 2700 pixels, or 12″ wide x 9″ high, with a resolution of 300 dpi
- Make sure all photos are in focus
- Limit the number of photos (max. 10)
- Pay attention to any unwelcome reflections
- Take your time to plan your photoshoot. Consider the time of day, location, lighting, etc.
The company asks that you do not include the following:
- Interior or solo engines
- People
- Restoration process
- Close-ups
- Car show backgrounds
Photos containing watermarks, logos or other added elements will not be accepted, said the company.
