Toronto, Ontario — Color Compass has issued a statement to its customers amid the COVID-19 crisis.
“The very rapid spread of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus has had a pervasive impact on our daily lives and how we all conduct our normal business operations,” said the company in a realse. “The current situation is very fluid and changes rapidly, we wanted to reach out to inform you of the steps that we are taking to ensure everyone’s safety during this time. We have been diligently monitoring the guidelines from the Government of Canada, the World Health Organization, and the various Provincial and Municipal Governments in the markets in which conduct operations.First and foremost, the health and safety of our staff, customers, and the communities in which we serve is our highest priority.”
The company says it is adhering to the following strict procedures.
While Color Compass is and will continue to fully clean and sanitize our stores, warehouses, and offices throughout our network, to be mindful of social distancing, the company has asked that access to our facilities be limited to visits that are essential. It is also sanitizing and cleaning all delivery vehicles regularly, as well as every product that is being prepared to leave our buildings.
Furthermore, all Color Compass staff is continually being reminded of the recommendations to regularly wash their hands, as well as being prepared with hand sanitizer. All Color Compass delivery staff will also be wearing disposable gloves that will be changed regularly on new deliveries.
Color Compass staff have been instructed to be very mindful of how they are feeling and to go home if they are feeling at all unwell. The company is also asking that staff report immediately if they have recently travelled to any of the high-risk areas and have taken the step to extend paid sick-leave to 14 days.
The company asks that if you or your staff have recently travelled to any of the high-risk areas that you contact your Color Compass sales representative to arrange alternative ordering options via; phone or email. If you would also prefer no-contact for your stock deliveries, Color Compass asks that you communicate that to your sales representative to arrange.
“We are in constant contact with our key vendors and have been assured that our supply chain is stable. We do not foresee supply chain interruptions at this time and will continue to monitor daily. We are also very confident that our inventory levels will effectively meet your needs moving forward,” said the company.
“Our commitment to you has always been excellent service and support, we will continue to provide that to the best of our ability while being very mindful of our staff’s health and safety as well as yours. We will continue to monitor and communicate to our staff the various government and public health bodies recommendations to mitigate the risk of exposure to COVID-19 and encourage you to do the same by visiting.”
