The Oberon HRC2 8 Cal Electric Vehicle Arc Flash and Shock Kit is an all-in-one PPE package designed for technicians working around EV high-voltage hazards. The kit provides arc-flash protection up to 8 cal/cm² and shock protection for hazards up to 1,500 VDC. It includes a hard cap with True Color Grey face shield, flame-resistant coveralls, balaclava, Class 0 glove kit, safety glasses, earplugs and a storage bucket. The coveralls incorporate a permanently attached 20-foot Kevlar escape strap that can assist with communication or rescue situations. The face shield features an anti-scratch and anti-fog polycarbonate window, while the kit meets applicable NFPA 70E, CSA Z462 and other listed standards. For collision repair facilities, the kit provides a dedicated layer of protection for technicians working on damaged or isolated high-voltage EV systems.
