The LAUNCH EVB624 is designed to balance individual cells within EV battery packs when voltage levels become inconsistent. It can be used after cell or module replacement to bring individual cell voltages into alignment, helping address voltage variance that can affect battery performance and operation. The system uses a separate charging and discharging design with six discharge units and 24 total balancing channels, allowing technicians to balance up to 24 cells simultaneously. Wireless communication allows the channels to be configured as needed, while the system supports common lithium battery types and includes protection against overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, short circuits, reverse connection and overheating.
