The Women's Industry Network is accepting applications for its 2027 board of directors through September 15, 2026, seeking passionate professionals to lead initiatives that advance women in the collision repair industry. Board members serve three two-year terms starting in January 2027, with onboarding beginning in November.

The Women’s Industry Network has announced that applications for seats on the organization’s board of directors are now open through Sept. 15, 2026.
WIN’s mission is to attract, develop, and promote women into collision repair professions. Its vision is to be the network that drives the advancement of women in collision repair, and the WIN board of directors exists to guide the organization in furthering those initiatives.
Volunteers represent various collision industry segments, such as repair facilities, PBE suppliers, consultants, information providers and insurance companies. The board is composed of 12 to 21 directors who typically serve three two-year terms, providing leadership to a specific WIN committee, initiative or program.
Onboarding begins in November, and the official term will begin in January 2027.
“Service on the WIN leadership board is an incredible opportunity to serve the industry and shape the future of our organization. We’re looking for passionate individuals who want to use their expertise to help shape WIN’s future. In particular, we welcome volunteers with experience in legal, compliance, HR, marketing, sales or business development, and student relations or scholarship programs, including those interested in supporting our growing sponsor relationships and developing the next generation of industry talent,” said Laura Kottschade, 2026-2027 WIN chair, in the press release. “This application will be used to meet interested candidates for the WIN board of directors. Qualified applicants are committed to carrying out the WIN mission and are actively engaged in the collision repair industry.”
Board members work together to foster an environment that encourages the education, advancement, retention and networking of women in the collision repair industry. Each year, the board focuses on several key strategic objectives to further WIN’s mission.
This year’s board initiatives have included the following:
- Organizational sustainability and growth
- Membership growth and engagement
- Marketing, visibility and advocacy
- Program and board excellence
“We especially encourage those with experience as a WIN volunteer to apply as familiarity with the WIN organization, program and culture is highly valuable to maximizing the impact of any leadership role,” added Kottschade.
Board candidates should consider their history and activities with WIN, the organization noted. Applicants should mention previous organizational and charitable leadership, volunteer activities and positions, responsibilities and experience in the collision repair industry, strategic planning, management skills, and any relevant experience leading volunteers in the application.
