Fergus, Ontario -- Members of the CSN Hutten team have shaven their heads in solidarity with Jesse Hutten, one of the business's co-owners currently undergoing chemotherapy.
"When we heard Jesse was diagnosed with cancer, it hit us all very hard," says Sean Hutten, Jesse's brother and fellow co-owner of the business. "We wanted to do anything that would help keep his spirits up at work and keep him motivated on recovery."
To that end, Sean, their two other brother co-owners Allen and Dustin Hutten, as well as their father and five other members of the CSN Hutten family, shaved their heads when Jesse began chemotherapy treatments.
Jesse, who was diagnosed with large B-cell lymphoma, is responding well to the treatment. The cancer, which has a reputation for developing quickly, is considered highly treatable, with chemotherapy-based regimens and targeted therapies forming the backbone of care.
In a social media post highlighting the show of solidarity, the business wrote: "Jesse, we’re praying for you and trusting God to carry you through this fight. We’re with you every step of the way."
The post also generated considerable support for the broader community, with dozens of messages of support from the Fergus area and from within the collision sector.
