Toronto, Ontario — Toronto, Ontario — The HD Repair Forum will return to the Dallas–Fort Worth area April 5–6 with a two-day program focused on the technical, business and safety challenges facing the heavy-duty and medium-duty collision repair sector.
Organizers say the event will examine current and emerging issues across heavy-duty, medium-duty, emergency and recreational vehicle repair, including electric vehicle servicing, welding and rivet bonding, compliance, estimating, advanced driver assistance systems, shop operations and workforce development.
The forum will open with an economic outlook, followed by sessions on steering systems, business growth strategies and welding and rivet bonding fundamentals. First-day programming will also include presentations on compliance requirements for heavy-duty collision repair, composite repair methods, calibration procedures, estimating best practices and sessions addressing shop safety, accounting and management.
The second day continues with more presentations on technical instruction on weld testing, frame repair and advanced materials, alongside business-focused discussions of acquisitions, private equity evaluations, insurance considerations and staffing challenges. It will also involve panel discussions featuring operators of heavy-duty and medium-duty collision repair facilities, along with sessions covering newly published industry data, trends and training programs.
Scheduled speakers and presenters include representatives from 3M, Penske, Rivian, TEXA, PACCAR, NGVAmerica, Women in Trucking and I-CAR, along with independent consultants and technical experts.
The forum also includes structured networking opportunities, including a reception at the end of the first day, aimed at connecting shop owners, technicians, suppliers and other aftermarket professionals.
