
Craftsman Collision is expanding its British Columbia network with acquisitions in Courtenay and Dawson Creek.
The North Vancouver-based collision repair network took over Courtenay Collision. a seven-person facility is located at 2701 Moray Ave. on July 13, according to Sylvia Peirano-Campbell, marketing and event coordinator for the Craftsman Group of Companies. The company is appointing Stefan Stralbiski as manager.
“It’s a privilege to lead our new Courtenay shop,” Stralbiski said. “I love being part of this community, and I’m committed to keeping our neighbours safe on the road with top-tier service and repairs you can trust.”
Craftsman has also acquired Russ’ Body Shop at 1400 101 Ave. in Dawson Creek. The company is scheduled to take over the seven-person facility on Aug. 10 and open it on Aug. 17.
“We are thrilled to become a part of the Dawson Creek and Courtenay communities and to serve the local drivers,” said Rick Hatswell, president and CEO of Craftsman Collision.
Craftsman is a family-owned collision repair network established in 1977. It operates more than 45 bodyshops in Western Canada.
