Brent Windom to lead Uni-Select’s Canadian Automotive Group

Brent Windom has been appointed to the position of President and COO for Uni-Select's Canadian Automotive Group.
Boucherville, Québec — May 24, 2017 — Brent Windom has been appointed to the position of President and Chief Operating Officer, Canadian Automotive Group for Uni-Select. He takes over the position from Gary O’Connor, who will officially retire from the company at the end of 2017. To ensure a smooth and efficient transition, O’Connor will act as Strategic Advisor to Windom until the end of 2017.
 
Windom has 30 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket industry. During his career, he has held various leadership positions, including serving as President and Chief Operating Officer of Uni-Select USA. His previous experience includes the positions of Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Uni-Select USA and as Vice President of Marketing and Merchandising for MAWDI. His most recent position was President and Chief Executive Officer of Auto Plus | Pep Boys.

O’Connor has served as President and COO for Uni-Select’s Automotive Canada Division since 2012. Prior to that appointment, O’Connor filled the position of Executive Vice President with the company.
