Autorobot introduces new expandable basic collision repair system

The new Autorobot B5.

Kuopio, Finland — December 12, 2013 — Autorobot Finland has developed a new collision repair system called Autorobot B5. This new machine belongs to the Autorobot B series modular system, which the company says gives collision repair facilities a great and easy way to upgrade and expand the system according to the growing needs of repair volumes, staff and productivity.

A statement from the company says Autorobot B5 can handle all passenger cars, cross country vehicles and vans. The mounting of vehicles without the pinch weld happens with patented Star/Starblock fasteners.

Autorobot B5 includes a standard Autorobot straightening bed with quick sill clamps, offering what Autorobot says is the quickest vehicle mounting available in the market. Additionally, B5 uses an already familiar straightening tower, which gives speed and working comfort to straightening.

Autorobot B5 can be made longer by using telescope structure extension beams, which give a long structure to the straightening bench.

Autorobot measuring systems include 3D based measuring data on the vehicle’s chassis and upper body. Measuring systems are available in mechanical and electronic versions, according to the needs of the facility. The top measuring systems include the measuring software and 3D measuring data. Measuring data is updated two times per year for subscribers.
