Leesburg, Virginia — The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence’s (ASE) summer registration for certification tests is now open until September 30.
The testing registration is available throughout the year via the ASE website. There are 50 ASE certification tests available and, following registration, there is a 90-day window to schedule an appointment to take the test. There are 450 test centers and the tests can be scheduled on weekdays, weekends and nights.
ASE certificates are not required in Canada but can be a good demonstration of one’s skill and passion for the craft. ASE technicians have to be recertified every five years, which means ASE technicians are always up-to-date on industry standards.
