Peter Bains named Uniparts OEM Canada’s new B.C. territory manager

Toronto, Ontario — January 29, 2018 — Uniparts OEM Canada has announced that Peter Bains will serve as its new territory manager in British Columbia. Bains responsibilities will involve building and managing the Uniparts OEM supplier network, as well as ensuring the best in class service to all new and future body shop customers.

 “Peter will be a great addition to our national team becoming our 16th sales representative from across Canada,” said Mike Kaplaniak, vice president, Uniparts. “Peter brings with him a vast amount of experience and knows the region well. I believe he will be the perfect fit for the B.C. market.”

Today, Bains has more than 15 years of experience in project management, executive management, business development, supply management, coaching and training. Bains got his start in the automotive aftermarket with a position with National Car Rental, working on business development for collision centres and various other corporate accounts in B.C. Over the past six years, he was worked as an account manager for an industrial manufacturer in the British Columbia region.

Uniparts is an OEM parts broker representing more than 350 dealers across Canada. It was recently announced that the firm would be extending its dealer network into B.C.
