Saskatoon Tire Slasher

By CRM staff

Toronto, Ontario — December 19, 2018 — A knife-wielding serial slasher-of-tires is causing panic in Saskatoon.

On Monday, residents of the Holliston neighbourhood awoke to discover that 16 of their vehicles had been slashed by the still unidentified automobile attacker.

The victimized vehicles were found on three streets: Salisbury Drive, Shannon Crescent and McLellan Avenue. Police are still looking for leads, with officers requesting that any member of the public with information on the perpetrator come forward.

In October, two tire slashers went on a similar spree in Burnaby, British Columbia. During their Thanksgiving tirade, the pair attacked 105 vehicles. Police were able to identify two teenaged boys after viewing footage from a private security camera.
