Toronto, Ontario — June 1, 2018 — Car-O-Liner recently announced that both General Motors (GM) and Jaguar Land Rover have approved the company’s CleanPrep Vacuum systems for use in their certified collision network centres.

“A clean, efficient shop begins with dust containment,” said Mark Weinmann, OEM account manager, Car-O-Liner. “Dusts of all types are one of the most problematic enemies of a collision repair shop. As dust travels through the building, it can create corrosion, contamination, potential fire hazards and costly reworks. Our vacuum systems are built to military and commercial aerospace specifications to safely and efficiently extract dust from any shop.”

According to the company, proper dust removal is critical to the collision repair process and is required as part of many OEM certifications.

Shops that are GM certified are now able to incorporate the entire line of CleanPrep Vacuum products into their procedures. Jaguar certified shops are limited to the CleanPrep Wet Mix Immersion Vacuum system.
