A Just Adjustment: Sask. labour rates to increase 3 percent on Saturday, SGI says

Regina, Saskatchewan — Saskatchewan Government Insurance (SGI) will be updating compensation rates for all its accredited auto repair partners, increasing the labour rate by 3 percent from $92.68 to $95.46, effective Saturday.

This increase will be reflected on all shop profiles on April 1, potentially resulting in system disruptions for repair shops according to SGI. Consequently, SGI warns shops to avoid using the ePay function on the day of the rate increase.

In an email to Collsion Repair from Tom Bissonnette, executive director for the Saskatchewan Association of Automotive Repairers (SAAR), further highlights that it is likely that SGI will announce new paint material rates on Saturday as well.
