Chicoutimi, Québec — Meet the dynamic father-son duo that make up CARSTAR Chicoutimi South, as they join a new extended family as one of the network’s latest additions.
With this latest opening, co-owners Sylvain and Jean-Sébastien Simard continue their conquest of the Chicoutimi repair market, now boasting a south end location to balance out its presence in the region’s north.
“We are very pleased to open a second CARSTAR in the Chicoutimi region,” said Sylvain.
“With our first location, CARSTAR Chicoutimi North, in the northern region of the province and now CARSTAR Chicoutimi South further down south, we are pleased to offer greater accessibility to customers in our community.”
Prominently located nearby the Parc des Laurentides, the pair say they are excited to begin operations in such a well-traveled area of Chicoutimi’s outskirts.
“Like many others in the collision repair industry, our interest sparked from restoring old vehicles,” said Jean-Sébastien.
“As we began to grow, it made perfect sense to work with a partner like CARSTAR and I trust that our reach and ability to serve customers will only continue to grow!”
Sylvain and Jean-Sébastien will be backed up by a team of seven technicians working the 9,200 square-foot facility’s production floor.
“The Simard family has already achieved great success with their first location, and I feel lucky to work alongside them as they continue to expand,” said CARSTAR Canada’s Québec zone director, Yves Robichaud.
