Ankara, Turkey — The International Bodyshop Industry Symposium (IBIS) will be hosting IBISConnect Turkey next week free of charge.
Held Wednesday, October 6, the event will focus on recovery in the post-pandemic era, according to the event agenda.
“In 2020 the business world was suddenly thrown into turmoil beyond anyone’s imagination,” wrote IBIS in its IBISConnect Turkey event release. “As the Covid-19 pandemic took hold, those plans, goals and growth objectives previously put in place became obsolete overnight. Companies were forced to readjust their strategies, processes and operating models for the foreseeable future.”
“As always, bodyshops will remain the centre of our focus.”
The event will kick off with an overview of Turkish market trends before diving into a look at the effects and lessons of the pandemic, one year in. The panel will look at the changes the industry has experienced in the last year and also analyze predictions of what’s to come.
Next will be a talk on the digital ecosystem and the customer journey, where panellists will discuss how industry leaders are adapting to the shifts toward digital customer experiences.
Following a networking break, insurer Allianz Turkey will deliver a discussion on claims management innovation, highlighting the most promising examples where technology has proven to ease the claims process.
The final two presentations to close out the event will focus on vehicle electrification and the route the aftermarket should take to stay with the times, and whether reinvestment is the opportunity you should consider right now.
