Securing Scans: Ravin A.I. secures U.S. patent for A.I. vehicle inspection system

Toronto, Ontario — Ravin A.I., a provider of artificial intelligence-driven vehicle inspection tools, has recently announced that the company has been granted a U.S. patent for its DeepDetect car inspection system.

According to the patent, the DeepDetect car inspection system uses deep learning A.I. algorithms to help enhance the accuracy of vehicle reports with the aim of fostering greater transparency among collision repair centres, service providers, automotive businesses and vehicle owners.

Specifically, the deep learning A.I. functions by using both stationary and mobile cameras to capture images of a vehicle and generates a comprehensive damage report through an algorithmic comparison with a computed vehicle model.

Ravin A.I. said that DeepDetect, which was granted a patent in Europe last year, represents a “major leap forward” in vehicle damage assessment.

The process is designed to facilitate the inspection of individual vehicle parts in motion, providing report accuracy without constraining image-capturing angles.

Ravin A.I. said its patented technology has been implemented by used-car dealerships, auctions, fleet managers, car rental and insurance companies and repair shops.

“Obtaining this U.S. patent is a testament to Ravin AI’s commitment to innovation and excellence in the field of AI-powered visual vehicle inspection,” CEO and co-founder Eliron Ekstein said. “Our DeepDetect solution is not just a tool – it’s a transformative technology that’s making vehicle appraisal more coherent, trustworthy and user-friendly.

“We are proud to contribute to the enhancement of operations and customer experiences across various sectors, from fleet managers and insurance firms to car rental agencies.”
