Strongsville, Ohio — July 11, 2017 — PPG announced that it will soon launch its EC520 En-V High Production Clearcoat. According to PPG, this is a new innovative clearcoat designed specifically for use over Envirobase High Performance basecoat. PPG stated that the EC520 is formulated for application in all markets, including Canada, and the new clearcoat will provide the performance required by high-production collision centres.
According to PPG, EC520 features an advanced resin technology that is highly compatible with waterborne basecoats. The company also noted that the new clearcoat has been engineered to ensure easy use, enhance productivity and yield consistent high-level results.
