Toronto, Ontario -- When Ralph D’Alessandro founded CSN 427 Auto Collision on September 12, 1975, it was just a 232-square-metre (2,500-square-foot) facility. Today, it has more than 150 employees and is a state-of-the-art facility measuring 9,290 square metres (100,000 square feet).

The third-generation family-owned and operated business is currently run by Ralph’s three sons: Lorenzo D’Alessandro, president; Frank D’Alessandro, vice-president of operations and John D’Alessandro, vice-president of sales.

“We have had many memorable milestones over the years, expanding from the original building into the building next door and then, more recently in 2017, expanding with the addition of our Symach system,” said Jessica D’Alessandro, CSN 427’s head of marketing. “The most important memories are the numerous parties and celebrations with team members, my Nonno and family. We have had so many good times over the years at the shop and beyond.”

CSN 427 is celebrating its 50th anniversary party on September 12, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at its shop on 395 Evans Avenue in Toronto, Ontario. Catering will be provided by Heirloom Toronto and Nav’s Live Pizza Palazzo. Those interested in attending should contact Jessica at [email protected] for more information.

Equipped with 27 certifications, including Tesla, Mercedes, BMW and Audi, in addition to 20 partner dealerships, the facility has everything needed to perform excellent repairs for the greater Toronto area.

The company provides collision repairs and related mechanical work, with its Etobicoke facility having a 1,208-square-metre (13,000-square-foot) truck repair shop. A Symach FixLine System and a Symach KombiTron dual chamber spray booth are featured among its equipment.

CSN 427 is committed to growth while remaining family-oriented for all future years of operation. “It’s been an incredible journey with family, staff, customers and our vendors,” said Lorenzo.

“We have a saying for the last 50 years, ‘the only constant we have is continuous improvement.’” Jessica agrees. “Our culture and energy mean everything to us,” she said. “We would love to continue to be a place that attracts the industry’s best people.”
