Plasnomic has appointed Elizabeth Kepes to its council, according to a release from the organization.

Kepes joins the council representing Intact, one of Canada’s largest auto insurers, bringing more than 20 years of experience in collision repair, including vendor program development, network strategy and operational performance.

The council supports the work of Plasnomic, which focuses on advancing standards and best practices for automotive plastic repair, as well as broader efforts related to sustainability and circular systems.

“Elizabeth represents exactly the type of leadership the industry needs right now—strategic, collaborative, and forward-thinking,” said the release from Plasnomic. “Her experience within one of the most advanced insurance ecosystems in North America brings critical insight as we work to establish global standards and accelerate the adoption of plastic repair.”

Kepes has worked extensively within collision repair networks, with a focus on improving financial performance, enhancing customer outcomes and driving efficiencies through data-led decision making. Her experience also includes advancing sustainable practices and exploring the role of plastic repair within the collision ecosystem.

In her role, Kepes will contribute to advancing best practices in plastic repair, support sustainability and circularity initiatives and help inform the future direction of collision repair networks in Canada and internationally.

Plasnomic indicated the appointment aligns with its mandate to bring together insurers, repairers, suppliers and OEMs under a shared framework aimed at improving repair consistency, reducing waste and addressing environmental impact.
