Windsor, Ontario – The Automotive Parts Manufacturers’ Association (APMA) will showcase a prototype of the famous Project Arrow prototype at its annual conference on Oct. 19, the first look at the world’s first all-Canadian electric vehicle.

On Oct. 5, Flavio Volpe, president of the APMA tweeted “we are sneak peaking our #ProjectArrow prototype build at the APMA Canada Annual Conf Oct. 19 in Windsor.”

Rather than a prototype for a future production vehicle, this concept vehicle is intended as a business card to showcase the capabilities of the Canadian auto industry. A demonstration project to showcase automotive innovation outside Detroit said Volpe.

According to APMA Canada, the conference brings industry leaders, decision-makers and innovators across the world to connect with others in the automotive community and attract investment into the Windsor Essex region.

“Project Arrow is currently in the build phase. 3D-printed chassis, promoting lightweighting and sustainability.” said APMA’s chief technical officer, Colin Singh Dhillon in a Twitter post.

“This is more than a concept car.”
