Niagara Falls, Ontario — Simplicity Car Care held its 2022 National Growth Conference in Niagara Falls
Attendees arrived in the Falls on Thursday evening, but the festivities kicked off on Friday with breakfast and a morning speech from Dan Cockerell, a former VP of Disney’s Magic Kingdom theme park.
Cockerell performed a health-check, asking the full house of attendees, “how’s the culture in your kingdom?”

Joe Trimboli closed off Day One, before the Trade Show floor opened for an evening of networking and witnessing all the products the 30+ exhibiting vendors had to offer.
Day Two kicked off with a presentation by Bill Brower, VP of Industry Relations for Solera, who focussed on the future of direct repair partnerships between insurers and collision repair facilities.
Sharon Ramalho, a former Chief People Officer with McDonald’s Canada, continued the presentations with her tips on how to maximize business potential with tried-and-true recruitment and retention practices.
A BETAG lunch was followed by Collision Builders, who hit the stage with a presentation for franchisees to increase the value of their businesses.
Next, the network welcomed Olympic gold-medallist Alex Kopacz, who competed in the two-man bobsled event in the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics. Unique to Simplicity’s conference, Kopacz’s speech centred around incorporating mental health into your strategy to “win” at business.
The Simplicity Car Care National Growth Conference concluded with a semi-formal gala on Saturday, Sept. 17.
