Hamilton, Ontario — CARSTAR found a way to make a special event a little bit more special, presenting a $25,000 donation to the St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation at Monday night’s OHL Outdoor Showcase game at Hamilton, Ont.’s Tim Horton’s Field.
To cap off a shutout 3-0 win from the hometown Hamilton Bulldogs over the Oshawa Generals, CARSTAR and the team gave back to their local community and organizations like the St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation that keep them healthy.
“As a business rooted in giving back to causes close to our communities, we were proud to support the St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation and the Hamilton Bulldogs at this exciting Outdoor Showcase,” said executive v-p and group president of Driven Brands Michael Macaluso.
“We have been a part of the Hamilton community for nearly three decades and supporting these organizations through the years helps build future success for our treasured town.”
St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation raises funds to support patient care, research and education at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton and in the surrounding communities.
