Pump Problems: Honda recalling 80,000 Canadian vehicles for fuel pump issues

Toronto, Ontario — Honda Motor Co. said Tuesday it will recall about 761,000 vehicles worldwide to replace fuel pumps that could fail and lead to engine problems.

The recall includes 80,176 vehicles in Canada and covers various vehicles from the model years 2019 and 2020. In the U.S, the automaker is recalling 628,000 2018-20 model year Acura and Honda vehicles.

Honda has received no reports of crashes or injuries related to the issue.

The recall covers some Accord, Civic, CR-V, Fit, Pilot, Ridgeline, MDX, RDX and TLX vehicles.
