Toronto, Ontario — August 25, 2018 — Edmonton-based AutoCanada has announced a three major new appointments to its executive team.

I am incredibly energized to continue with our laser-focus on operational excellence, while selectively adding dealerships, in order to deliver long-term profitable growth,” said Michael Rawluk, President.
The company’s new chief financial officer, Raj Juneja, had previously been a tax lawyer, and partner at a prestigious Toronto firm, Davies Ward Philips & Vineberg LLC.
According to his profile on the practice’s website, Juneja ‘has extensive experience with corporate reorganisations, domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, international tax planning, corporate finance, derivatives and resource tax. He also regularly advises tax-exempt institutions (such as pensions funds), private equity funds, hedge funds, REITs and financial institutions.”
Juneja is not the only member of the practice to find his way onto AutoCanada’s payroll. Peter Hong, who has been named as both chief strategy officer and general council, was senior partner with Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP.
Michael Cunningham, who had been the CFO of a U.S. dealer group, has been named the vice president of finance, and the chief financial officer for the companies U.S.-based operations.
