Toronto, Ontario — December 28, 2016 — The province of Ontario has announced two new pre-apprenticeship classes are now approved for the April and June 2017 time frames for the trade of Auto Body Collision Damage Repairer.

One of the approved classes will be offered by Tropicana Community Services in Toronto. This program is now in its eighth year.  The other program is offered through Mohawk College in Hamilton. Mohawk College decided to offer the program again this year, after a successful class last year where 20 graduates were employed by repair facilities after completing their Level 1 apprenticeship training.

More information and registration opportunities will be announced later this spring.

For further information on the Toronto area offering, please contact Marc Tremblay at 416-491-7000 ext. 203. Debbie DeDauw runs the pre-apprenticeship program for Mohawk College. She can be reached at 905-575-2301.
