Anaheim, California — July 28, 2016 — Heavy vehicles demand different techniques. For the first time, NACE will offer training on heavy duty collision and mechanical repair. Sessions take place Wednesday, August 10, and Thursday, August 11.

This inaugural program includes:

– Dean Hancock, Collision Advice – Heavy Duty Damage Analysis

– John Spoto, 3M – Working Smarter, Not Harder Through Consistent HD Repair Procedures

– Mark Hawkins, Redline Detection – Quickly Find Hidden Leaks in Heavy Duty Trucks, Causing Power, Performance, Fuel Economy, and DPF Regeneration Issues

– Dave Scribner, Car-O-Liner – Opportunities in Heavy Duty Truck Collision Repair

In addition to the training classes, a number of companies exhibiting on the show floor will highlight their HD solutions, including Car-O-Liner, ProLine, Yukon Gear & Axle, Pro Spot International, NAPA, GYS Welding, BASF, Audatex, Bad Dog Tools, and many others.

Registration for any of the HD classes includes access to the expo where visitors can see live demos, test drive the 2017 Ford Super Duty trucks, attend OEM and I-CAR training and more.

“Many of our collision repair and service company partners support the heavy duty market and we’ve had numerous requests for training programs in this area,” said ASA President and Executive Director Dan Risley. “We are excited to launch our first classes in Anaheim during NACE | CARS 2016 this August. We have presenters with a wealth of knowledge and experience they’ll be sharing with shop owners and managers. This is just the start of a growing program.”

Registration for the HD programs is open at naceexpo.com.
