Mitchell releases Q4 2014 Trends Report

San Diego, California — November 7, 2014 — Mitchell has released its Industry Trends Report (ITR) for the fourth quarter of 2014.

Highlights from the latest issue includes an examination by editor-in-chief Greg Horn on how repairing bumper covers, the most commonly damaged part in collision, can be a win-win-win for the shop, insurer and vehicle owner, Shawn Collins of 3M explores the common causes of plastic repair mistakes, and a bonus feature on reinventing the claims process through the connected car.

As always, the report also includes information on Canadian collision summaries, as well as total loss data, actual cash value trends from J.D. Power, and more.

Mitchell has also announced it will hold a webinar to discuss the report. The 60 minute webinar will be led by Greg Horn, who will discuss bumper repair vs. replace, severity trends, parts and paint KPIs, and much more.

The webinar is scheduled for November 12, 2014 at 12 p.m. EST. If you’re interested in attending, space is limited and all are encouraged to register online by clicking here.
