Cleveland, Ohio — May 13, 2014 — New from Dupli-Color, the Carbon Fiber Kit is a two-can system that features the company’s Dimensional Effex Template to create a carbon fibre appearance on any plastic or metal surface. Dupli-Color recommends the use of an adhesion promoter for optimal results when using the kit on plastic.
The two-step system starts with a Graphite Metallic Base Coat to create a deep, graphite metallic base. Then, the combination of Dupli-Color’s Dimensional Effex Template and Black Top Coat brings the carbon fiber look to life. The top coat also adds gloss, depth and added protection to the finish.
The company says the coating is nick, chip and fade resistant. You can add extra gloss and durability by applying Dupli-Color Crystal Clear Enamel (not included in the kit) to high touch areas.
