Leclerc Leaves: Honda Canada President and CEO to retire

Jean Marc Leclerc, Honda Canada's president and CEO, is set to retire after a 40-year career in the industry. Dave Jamieson, Honda Canada's senior vice president and COO will take over the role effective April 1, 2025.

Toronto, Ontario – Jean Marc Leclerc, Honda Canada's president and CEO, is set to retire after a 40-year career in the industry. Dave Jamieson, Honda Canada's senior vice president and COO will take over the role effective April 1, 2025. 

Lerclec's journey with Honda Canada began in 1995, and he has since served in multiple leadership roles across Honda, Acura, Motorcycle and Power Equipment and Honda Financial Services. He was named President and CEO in May 2020, and the automaker said his "leadership and vision were instrumental in navigating a post-pandemic environment." 

Jamieson is a senior executive with 30 years of automotive experience in all facets of the business.
