Fighting Cystic Fibrosis: CARSTAR raises funds for Cystic Fibrosis research

British Columbia — Today, CARSTAR is celebrating a new milestone—they have raised a total of $4 million dollars for cystic fibrosis research, care and advocacy. 

CARSTAR first started fundraising for cystic fibrosis when a franchise partner’s granddaughter received a cystic fibrosis diagnosis. 

Normally, in June there would be numerous Shine week events across North America in support of this cause. Unfortunately, the global pandemic has changed how CARSTAR has been able to support this year. 

This year both CARSTAR and CARSTAR Quality Assured, located in Parksville, B.C. continued to support the cause by making a $6,800.00 donation to local Cystic Fibrosis chapters and other charitable organizations in the community.
