Assured Automotive 13th annual golf tournament

By Jordan Arseneault

Toronto, Ontario – September 12, 2018 — Assured Automotive held its 13th annual golf tournament in support of the Pinball Clemons Foundation last week.

The event attracted over 160 attendees from various sectors of the collision repair industry to Glen Abby golf course in Oakville, Ont.

The day began with a round of golf followed by dinner. Dianne Clemons addressed the golfers with a song praising those in attendance for supporting the foundation, emphasizing the philosophy that a “hand up” is much more meaningful than a “hand out.”

She concluded by reinforcing the impact these events have in the lives so many.

Des Browne held the responsibility of master of ceremonies for the evening, not disappointing with his slapstick sense of humour and ability to connect with the crowd.

Overall the event was a huge success, as friends of Assured Automotive came together to support a great cause.

Tony Canade, president of Assured Automotive, addressed the crowd with a final sentiment, thanking everyone who attended for their continued partnership with Assured and for their support of the Pinball Clemons Foundation.
