Leesburg, Virginia — July 13, 2017 — The Women’s Industry Network (WIN) will host a 30-minute educational webinar titled “Be Deliberate” on Wednesday, August 2 at 2:00 p.m. EST. Mike Jones, President of Discover Leadership, will continue the message that he delivered at the WIN Annual Educational Conference held in Denver, Colorado in May 2017.
“WIN continues to explore educational opportunities for our membership to develop professional skills to excel in our industry,” said Michelle Sullivan, Membership Committee Co-Chair. “We are excited to see Mike Jones return after his outstanding address at the WIN Conference to conduct this interactive, video session for our membership.”
Jones will discuss how most of us spend every day of our lives in our comfort zones, with certain patterns of thinking and certain ways of behaving. He believes that when we live our lives like this, we are on autopilot, with the lights off and our eyes closed. When we live in our comfort zone, life is happening to us. Learning to “Be Deliberate” means striving to be purposeful, willful and intentional. It means that we are tuned in, with the lights on and our eyes open. When we are being deliberate, we are in the game and life is happening because of us. This way of life is focused, productive and fulfilling.
