Doubling Down: Simplicity Car Care welcomes two new locations

Toronto, Ontario — This week, Simplicity Car Care announced the addition of two new collision centres to its network; one in Prince George, B.C. and another in Montréal, Québec.

Riverside Collision was established in Prince George, B.C. 1991 with two bays and a mission to deliver quality collision repair to customers. Since then, the business has expanded to eight bays and continue to pride themselves on top-quality service that has led to satisfied, loyal customers.

Pierre Indaburu, Owner of Riverside Collision, is looking forward to the future with Simplicity Car Care and moving his business in a positive direction within the industry. “We had been looking for a banner for our shop and after two years of research and homework we decided to go with Simplicity Car Care,” recalls Pierre. “We liked their ideas on improving business practices and look forward to implementing their policies to see an increase in our sales.”

Over the last few years, Riverside Collision has been a proud supporter of BMX Supertrax, the Little Britches Rodeo, and Youth Girls Softball in Prince George. These commitments will continue to connect Riverside Collision to the community as a Simplicity Car Care Centre.

“We are proud to welcome Pierre Indaburu and his team to the Simplicity Car Care family,” says Domenic Ieraci, President of Simplicity Car Care. “Pierre has carried a long-standing reputation for delivering a tremendous client experience and is considered a steward of the community. There were obvious synergies between our companies which made this partnership a perfect fit.

“We’re excited about our ability to process vehicles approximately 28% faster than the average Canadian collision repair centre. This will help increase the overall speed of the repair and drive down the average cost per claim—enabling insurers such as ICBC to reduce costs and provide a better overall experience for the end-user.”

Bassem Hijazi is the new franchise owner of Simplicity’s other new facility, Simplicity Car Care Montreal North.

Bassem’s father opened up the bodyshop in 2012. After seeing his father working 18 hour days and struggling to keep up with the pressure of running a body shop on his own, Bassem began working with him. With his background and experience in auto estimation, Bassem knew he could use his skills to help grow the family business. Together, they were able to expand their business with a focus on providing top-notch customer service to their community.

Simplicity Car Care was the perfect choice for Bassem, as he wanted a national franchise that matched their current image, as well as their vision of what the future holds for their business. The reputation that Simplicity Car Care has within the industry, along with the chance to grow alongside a quickly expanding business were both key factors that made Simplicity a perfect fit. When looking at his options, the choice to go with Simplicity Car Care was an easy one for Bassen, stating “In my opinion, the Simplicity team is perfectly positioned to help any workshop structure itself, stay up to date in the constantly evolving industry, and build good relations with insurance companies.”

Bassem and his father are both extremely excited to be the first Simplicity Car Care location to open in Montreal. They will continue to focus on providing impeccable, complete service to their community. Their business will have the opportunity to continue to grow and improve using the tools and systems that Simplicity Car Care provides to their franchisees.

“We are very happy and excited to become the first Simplicity in Montreal,” says Bassem. “Thanks to Simplicity we have the opportunity to grow and develop in the constantly changing automotive industry. Thanks to their strongly established relationships and reputation, I am convinced that joining the Simplicity banner will bring us to a whole other level. Simplicity’s entry into Quebec is a gamechanger!”

“We are very proud to have Bassem Hijazi and his team join the Simplicity Car Care family,” says Domenic Ieraci, President of Simplicity Car Care. “We knew early in our discussions that Bassem would prove to be a valuable asset to our network. His technical expertise, focus on customer experience, and investments in equipment and certification, demonstrates that Bassem carries the leadership and business acumen that Simplicity Car Care desires as a franchise partner. We look forward to working together to make car care simple and affordable for the great people of Montreal, Quebec.”
