Webinar: Apprentice perspectives on workplace training in the skilled trades

Toronto, Ontario — April 24, 2018 –– The Canadian Apprenticeship Forum (CAF-FCA) has announced it will be hosting a webinar on May 16, featuring the perspectives of apprentices on workplace training issues. 
 
According to CAF, apprentices spend 80 to 90 percent of their time at the workplace learning from an employer and a journeyperson mentor. CAF-FCA surveyed apprentices and early-career journeypersons to gather their perspectives on workplace training. This information will be presented during the upcoming webinar. 
 
Join the live webinar to hear their perspectives on workplace orientation, supports, mentoring and communication and learn what factors help support apprentice retention and completion.
