Boucherville, Quebec — May 3, 2016 — Uni-Select’s expansion drive continues with another acquisition by its US-based subsidiary FinishMaster. This time the company has acquired Gladwin Paint Company, a distributor with eight locations across Texas, including outlets in Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio.
This marks the sixth acquisition by Uni-Select since the beginning of 2016, leading to good results for the company in its first quarter. For more on this, please see “Uni-Select acquires Zitco, releases Q1 results.”
Gladwin was founded in 1954 by Carl and Margaret Gladwin. Since that time, it has grown to be one of the largest PBE distributors in the southwestern US.
