Brighton, Michigan — September 22, 2014 — Transtar Autobody Technologies has announced the launch of three new products. Ultra Flex Sprayable Seam Sealer – White (4182-WH) and Beige (4182-BG) is now available, in addition to its black and gray offerings.
Transtar’s Ultra Flex Sprayable Seam Sealer is an iso-free, multi-purpose sprayable sealant that can be applied via caulking gun or spray equipment. The product is tough, elastic and waterproof. It bonds aggressively to steel, aluminum, galvanized metal, fibreglass, urethane, epoxy, polyester, water-based primers, glass, Styrofoam, and many plastics.
The company has also launched Self Etching 1K Primer- Gray (6193), in addition to the current olive green option.
It is a ready-to-use, one component metal etching primer that provides excellent corrosion protection. Unlike many self etching primers, it can be directly top-coated. It is recommended for use to treat bare metal or for application under primer surfacers.
