Toronto, Ontario — April 24, 2019 — The Carrossier ProColor network, a member of CSN Collision Centres, will be donating $10,000 to the Canadian Red Cross to help families who are severely affected by the recent spring flooding throughout Quebec.

According to Urgence Quebec water levels are predicted to peak by Thursday morning, but it won’t exceed the level of flooding that occurred in 2017.

On Tuesday, 1,418 people across the province left their homes and 2,900 houses were flooded, reported the Montreal Gazette.

“Like last year, it is our duty to reiterate our support to those affected, including many of our franchisees, employees, and clients. We are very pleased to help the communities of Quebec by offering a donation to the Red Cross,” said Michel Charbonneau, vice-president of sales for Uni-Select Canada.

During this period of flooding, the Canadian Red Cross is working closely with municipal and provincial authorities. Red Cross volunteers have been mobilized to support those affected by the floods. All donations will be used to meet the basic needs of those who have been the most affected including helping families relocate to hotels or providing food vouchers.
