Tesla Tick: CSN Golden Triangle Guelph gains Tesla certification

Toronto, Ontario — CSN Golden Triangle Guelph earned their Tesla approved autobody shop certification as of January 2021.

CSN Golden Triangle has become one of only a few Tesla certified collision centers across Canada, which is an honor that adds to what is already an impressive set of credentials. Tesla is known throughout the automotive industry for its highly advanced technology, which means the repair process requires intensive training and specialized tools and equipment to properly repair a Tesla.

“We have always been committed to completing safe and proper repairs on every vehicle we touch at our facility,” said Rob Pavan, owner of  CSN Golden Triangle Guelph. “The way vehicles are engineered now requires you to have technicians who are expertly trained and the right tools and equipment to complete the job properly. Our staff worked very hard to meet the requirements to complete our Tesla Certification and I’m proud of their efforts,” Pavan said.

In these modern times, vehicles are built with more technology than ever before and that trend is continuing as manufacturers aim to meet the needs of all customers–no matter the type of vehicle.

Tesla in-particular has a distinctively complex suite of technology that includes its trademark autopilot software in addition to its electric powertrain. Due to the company’s unique engineering, Tesla demands the highest standards from their Approved Bodyshop (TABS) network through meticulous training and assessment of all the technicians that will be working on the Tesla vehicles.

However, OEM repair procedures are nothing new to the staff and technicians at CSN Golden Triangle. In addition to their Tesla certification, they have also proven their commitment to adhering to repair guidelines for almost every major automaker in Canada. CSN Golden Triangle Guelph has earned credentials of certification for, Kia, Nissan, INFINITI, Toyota, Ford, FCA, Honda/Acura Profirst, and Volkswagen.

“We take the repair of our customer vehicles very seriously and so we want to make sure we have the most up to date information on those vehicles,” said Pavan,
