Macon, Georgia -- ComputerLogic is announcing the launch of its Smart Calculation program, an upgrade to its PMCLogic platform for paint and material invoicing.

According to the press release, the new upgrade also includes enhanced workflow features “designed to improve data accuracy, reduce administrative burden and increase profitability for bodyshops across the U.S. and Canada.”

PMCLogic leverages customizable templates and adaptive syncing logic to empower bodyshops to fully automate the invoicing process. According to the company, this also allows users to enhance the accuracy of data while allowing repair planners to stay focused on the repair process.

“These enhancements address a long-standing challenge in the collision repair industry,” said Heather Bartolotta, director of operations at ComputerLogic. “By fully automating the paint and material invoicing process, starting with evaluating each individual line item as soon as the vehicle estimate is written, can significantly reduce time spent on manual work, while ensuring greater accuracy.”

Rick Palmer, the founder and president of ComputerLogic was also quoted in the press release. “These enhancements are not just upgrades, they represent a foundational shift toward a more intelligent, self-adapting calculation that accounts for all of the paint and material items required for every unique repair,” he said. “It’s time for body shops to lead the shift toward a new paradigm, one that bases payment on an honest, accurate and detailed invoice that truly reflects the materials used in each repair.”

ComputerLogic is offering bodyshops complimentary access to PMCLogic. To gain access, collision repair professionals should visit pmclogic.com and request to connect PMCLogic to their current estimating system.
