SCRS’s “HELP! The panel will include Dan Black, advanced body development and collision repair manager at Fiat Chrysler; Eric Mendoza of Toyota Motor North America’s collision operations; Nicole Riedel, wholesale parts specialist at Subaru of America; and Scott Kaboos, chief instructor for collision repair at American Honda Motor Co.

SCRS will also offer a session on OEM welding expectations, where it will discuss how to improve weld performance through maintenance, frequent training, practicing protocols, destructive testing and quality control considerations.

The question period will be led by Mark Olson, CEO of VECO Experts, an independent organization that works directly with automakers to perform on-site assessments, repair inspections and technical training lessons to ensure fit, finish, durability, value and consumer safety.

The welding session’s panellists include Shawn Hart, collision instructor and curriculum designer at Audi of America; Dave Gruskos, president of Reliable Automotive Equipment; Robert Hiser, technical training specialist and OEM liaison for Spanesi Americas; Ryan Swanson, training development manager for Pro Spot International; and Rick Miller, a program consultant for Jaguar Land Rover.
