Toronto, Ontario — February 7, 2019 — SEMA is now accepting industry leaders to host a seminar at next year’s show.
The event, which will take place from Nov. 5-8, is looking speakers with industry experience including retail, small-business operations, economic trends and niche markets such as off-road and power sports.
Educational seminars are a staple of the international automotive trade event, which attracts more than 161,000 industry professionals annually.
“The SEMA Show is about helping industry businesses succeed, and a big part of that is educating participants with information that will help take their companies to the next level,” said SEMA vice president of events Tom Gattuso. “Our seminars give Show participants greater return on their investment and an opportunity to learn about better strategies for success.”
SEMA’s education program typically includes more than 70 sessions. This year’s show will focus primarily on issues currently affecting businesses in the automotive aftermarket.

Speakers will be expected to be able to focus their presentation on industry issues and not a specific company position or agenda.
“We pride ourselves in providing top-rated information from industry experts to attendees through the education program,” said SEMA senior director of education Zane Clark. “Seminar proposals should be forward-looking, practical and provide attendees with practical takeaways.”
