Toronto, Ontario — May 21, 2019 — Sia Abrasives’ new, multi-hole sanding disk, the S Performance has been released. Designed with cleanliness and safety at the top-of-mind, Sia says the new disk will enable more efficient sanding to be done.
One of the key elements of the new design is an optimized hole pattern. According to Sia, the high-concentration of holes in the core-zone increases the extraction performance of the disk, reducing dust exposure and accelerating the time needed to sand work pieces. It also reduces the risk of blockage for the disc. Fewer blockages would increase the amount of use from each disk, and reduce life-cycle costs.
The centre hole on the new sanding discs facilitates the positioning of the disc on the machine and makes it possible to mount it without any issues.
