Axalta Appointments: Axalta announces new roles for Mark Dixon, Patricia Morschel

Toronto, Ontario — In a recent online announcement, Axalta has revealed the appointment of Mark Dixon to the newly created role of senior vice president, chief procurement officer and operational excellence, with Patricia Morschel to serve as senior vice president and chief marketing officer.

As noted in the online release, in his new role, Dixon will lead procurement, strategic supply chain, global quality, environmental health and safety and operational excellence.

Additionally, before joining Axalta in 2022, Dixon reportedly held various leadership roles in engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and procurement.

Comparatively, Patricia Morschel has been promoted to the newly created role of senior vice president and chief marketing officer.

In this role, Morschel will be responsible for establishing a marketing centre of excellence and enhancing all areas of marketing and communication.

The online release concludes that with 30 years of dedicated service to Axalta, Morschel has also held numerous leadership positions, most recently serving as vice president, marketing and commercial operations, Global Refinish.
